We Might All Be Watching Online Videos by 2015 →
“If online video watching continues at its current rate of growth, in just under 5 years, almost every American with an Internet connection (i.e., the vast majority of Americans, period) will be watching video online.”

Why Will Google TV Be Any Different From WebTV? Or... →
“The simple fact is that cable companies like Comcast (CMCSA) and Time Warner (TWX) not only distribute the majority of the set-top boxes in the U.S, they also have a strong hold over content providers. Unless Google can convince them that their current business model is in need of something like Google TV, pushing the platform into the mainstream is likely to prove quite difficult.”

Nintendo Singles out Apple as "Enemy of the... →
Following Apple’s sale of 1 million iPads in 28 days and the rapid decline of netbook sales, I do not think Nintendo is the only company worried about the future. “Nintendo is reportedly worried due to its first drop in profits since 2004 and a corresponding rare drop in the number of DS gaming systems.”

Ellen’s version of the iPhone commercial. This is one of the most delightful iPhone commercials I have seen and I absolutely love it. Too bad Ellen had to apologize to Apple for making the iPhone look like it is difficult to use. Well, at least she made the apology somewhat funny and everyone got a good laugh out of it. It’s a joke, Mr. Macintosh.

"Avatar" Helps Boost News Corp. Revenue →
I am sure no one is surprised. “The film’s performance helped push News Corp.’s quarterly earnings above Wall Street’s expectations, generating revenue of $8.8 billion and earnings of 32 cents per share. Analysts had been looking for $8.23 billion and 22 cents, respectively.”

Beth Fulton | Television Is a Drug. “The inspiration of this video comes from Todd Alcott’s poem, Television. I own no rights to his reading of the poem and intend only to share my own personal interpretation. Hope you like!” It’s quite an interpretation. Well done.

"Back In" by Fraser Speirs →
In the piece “Back In,” Fraser Speirs talked about why he has decided to develop for the iPhone OS once again.  In September of 2008, Speirs wrote, “I will never write another iPhone application for the App Store as currently constituted” in a piece entitled “App Store: I’m Out.”  Speirs made some great points in his writing and the piece circulated on the...

How Wired.com Tracked the iPhone Finder →
Insightful piece written by Brian Chen on how Wired.com tracked down Brian Hogan, the “iPhone Finder.”  What I find most interesting about this piece is how powerful social media and Internet tools have become.  Through the use of Facebook, Google search, and people tracking websites such as Knowx.com, the hard working staff at Wired.com was able to gather plenty of information about...

My Brother is Featured on The New Yorker's The... →
I would not be a good brother if I did not share this with the Internet. I previously posted about one of my brother’s projects (in collaboration with Manny and Jae) that was featured on Gizmodo. The very same project, called The Page, is now featured on The New Yorker’s The Book Bench. Monica Racic, author of the post, wrote: What I love about the idea of The Page is the purity of...

iPhone Finder Regrets His ‘Mistake’ →
The continuous debate regarding the iPhone 4G prototype incident is not going to stop anytime soon. Legal and ethical issues surrounding the event will continue to surface as the even slowly unfolds. I am not here to make a judgement call. I am, however, trying to satisfy my interest in the event by doing as much research as I possibly could. This is, of course, the wonder of the Internet. Just a...

Nokia N8 | Sample Video Yes, this video was taken with Nokia’s upcoming N8 flagship mobile phone. The N8 is packed with a 12 mega-pixel camera and 720p video recording capability. But no, I do not believe mobile phones will make DSLRs obsolete. Not yet at least.

"Thoughts on Flash" by Steve Jobs →
This is a big deal, and a great read too. This is not about Apple’s battle with Adobe regarding the adoption of Flash for iPhones, iPods and iPads, it is about advancing computing and mobile experience for developers and end users. Of course, it does not mean Flash is no longer relevant, but as Michael Gartenberg pointed out in this post: Like Steve, I have not seen Flash work well on a...
