How Wired.com Tracked the iPhone Finder

Insightful piece written by Brian Chen on how Wired.com tracked down Brian Hogan, the “iPhone Finder.”  What I find most interesting about this piece is how powerful social media and Internet tools have become.  Through the use of Facebook, Google search, and people tracking websites such as Knowx.com, the hard working staff at Wired.com was able to gather plenty of information about Brian Hogan.  Even after Hogan closed and deleted his online social profiles, the trace he left behind still offered substantial information about the man himself.
