“The inspiration of this video comes from Todd Alcott’s poem, Television. I own no rights to his reading of the poem and intend only to share my own personal interpretation. Hope you like!”

It’s quite an interpretation. Well done.

My Brother is Featured on The New Yorker's The Book Bench!

I would not be a good brother if I did not share this with the Internet. I previously posted about one of my brother’s projects (in collaboration with Manny and Jae) that was featured on Gizmodo. The very same project, called The Page, is now featured on The New Yorker’s The Book Bench.

Monica Racic, author of the post, wrote:

What I love about the idea of The Page is the purity of its aim: to create, as Liao put it “a world where objects and spaces are optimized to natural human practices and to accessing an increasing array of media.”

I am very happy for my brother, and I smile every time he is referred to as “Liao.” You can read the post in its entirety here.

This is a photo of lego minifigs getting prepared to unpack the Apple iPad. The entire photo collection can be seen here. The photos are charming at and I think the artist did a wonderful job telling a simple and delightful story with the minifigs.

Not too long ago, my brother Scott and his colleagues, Jae and Manny, completed an e-ink display concept called The Page. Just a short while ago my brother sent me the following text:

Dude! Our eReader project got featured on GIZMODO!!!

I am a big fan of Gizmodo, and I am incredibly proud of the work my brother and his colleagues have done.
You can see the Gizmodo post here.

I have no idea what my brother is doing, but it looks like he is building something for an interactive project at Art Center. He shot the video with his trusty Flip UltraHD, which he loves immensely.

"The Office" Co-Producer Teams with Yahoo for Daily Web Show

“This particular show’s advantage is that it’s cheap and quick to produce, so each episode can be made in response to topics that are trending on the web at any given moment.”

I admire this creative approach to producing a daily web show that is relevant to what is happening.  I will definitely be keeping my eyes on the show.  I can’t embed the video here so be sure to click o the link and check it out.
